Honda has finally launched the car that everyone is waiting to see in India - the Civic, Honda's most popular car ever.
Civic comes with a vTEC engine that delivers 132BHP, with manual and automatic transmission options, with 5 speed for even automatic transmission. The automatic transmission seems to be really hi-tec, with a manual override option just at the press of a button!
The Manual version of the Civic costs around 10.75 lakhs while the automatic is around 11.5 lakhs. For more details, see the Honda India website which has excellent details on the car.

took test drive of the automatic.vehicle is sexy on exteriors.......interior fabrics and door pads look cheap compared to octavia or corolla or even for a 13+ lakh car........even top end has no fog lamps???? the control buttons and dashboard feel rich and are easy to use........ride quality settings are sporty as compared to corolla which is for smooth ride. engine jerks which is a trait of the honda idsi, vtec engines is not ironed out....vehicle jerks noticeably in 1st, 2nd gear changes especially of u have a light foot on the gas. automatic paddle shift is gud but quality of the paddles is cheap ...feel as if they will break off in your hands........all in all vnice car but will i spend 13+ lakhs for it??????? bit pricey.....11 is more like price for the car..................

Good Reporting, as you rightly said 12 Lakhs is bit costly for this car. Ideal price is 10 Laks for manual and 10.5 for auto. cheers-Raj
