At the launch of new variant of Ford Focus, Ford announced that they have no plans for a small car launch in India. I wonder why Ford doesn't want to launch one, especially when they already have cars like the popular Ford Ka, which can fit the bill. It is fairly obvious that small cars are big in India, and every one who has missed the bus, like GM and Toyota want to join the small car party. Why would Ford want to stay away from this, I can't comprehend.

They a all Lie balatanltly.
GM India said it was not in small car race, their VP said it on TV, after some mnths they launched Opel Corsa -Hatchback. It was a premium small car. It didn't do well, thats another story altogether.
