Maruti Launches new Suzuki Grand Vitara

Maruti has re-launched their SUV and only passenger vehicle in the premium segment- Suzuki Grand Vitara. The Grand Vitara is equipped with a 2 liter engine which delivers 119.5bhp of power. The Vitara is available in 2 versions - one with manual transmission and another with a four speed automatic transmission. The Grand Vitara is priced at 13.8 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.

No-doubt that this upgraded Maruti's child will rule the Indian roads in near future. I also read about some of the recently launched and launching cars in www.carazoo.com.
Men can rejoice. This super SUV is
all set to create a havoc. Best part is that this one is amazingly good looking, while It is loaded with amazing features that make the car ideal for both off-road and on-road exploits. Unlike the previous Grand Vitara which was truck-based the new version features unibody construction. On a unibody vehicle, there is no separate frame and some body parts are incorporated into the base structure of the car. The result is lighter weight and usually a smoother, more comfortable ride. In order to keep the previous Grand Vitara's off-road character, the new version incorporates a ladder frame into the unibody structure for an extra measure of off-road performance while still delivering a carlike highway feel. Off-road ability is further enhanced by full-time four-wheel drive with a locking center differential. It has three driving modes: "High Range" acts like a full-time all-wheel-drive system; "High Range Lock" locks the center differential for more demanding conditions like mud or snow; and "Low Range Lock" is for taking on the most serious off-road duties. And Despite the single engine specification, the Grand Vitara is offered in three trim levels. This one is an ideal weapon to fight with the tough Indian roads and suits Indian mindset of getting a two-in-one car.We're lucky to have it here!

An ideal SUV for the Indian roads -that's Grand Vitara for you. I think Maruti has done its homework well, and embedded its experience with Indian customers in launching Grand Vitara. Being in the SUV segment, Grand Vitara is reasonably priced, and is slowly gaining popularity amongst SUV-lovers. The features look enticing, and many reviewers have given thumbs up to the Grand Vitara!
